After trying my hand at the television and film industry I decided that I should listen to those around me telling me I should teach.
I've coached hockey since 1999 and that is my main source of experience in teaching children - although I am finding that experience invaluable.
I have a Bachelor of Communiation - Media/ Multimedia Production, was trained as a non-linear Editor of Film and television and also have a Bachelor of Education - Primary (Graduate Entry).
For 2008 I have a 12 month contract at Canberra Girls' Grammar School teaching a year 2 class. Which I am enjoying immensely.
In December I will be leaving Canberra to go join my husband Grant who is now living in Seattle as he has a job with Microsoft. I miss him dreadfully and cannot wait to be with him again.
In the meantime my family (see photo below) is looking after me here.
